GENERAL FACTS
Their current spoken language is Perrsh, borrowed from their neighbor Perraine. Ancient Castillans spoke Coryis, which is used for spellcasting. The longer a spoken word is in use, the more powerful it becomes when used for magic.
The country is divided into a hundred states. The borders more or less follow the perimeters of the ancient city-states.
No one leader rules the country, but a board of ministers manages the day-to-day, while the senators from each state collaborate on the laws.
